The Long and Tough Journey of a True Warrior

When creating this piece, the goal was to capture the essence of the character. He is ever-changing, but that is what makes him interesting. The embroidery on the front was difficult to perfect due to the intricate details that needed to be perfected. The piece shows the journey of the character, from childhood in the centre looking out, to adolescence and then adulthood. Each phase is so different from the last, and that's what makes it so beautiful. The back features a faded vintage-style print of the character looking into the distance. The entire shirt has a light acid wash to mute the color making it the perfect shade for this design.

"My personal favorite aspect of this shirt is the intricate embroidery. Some of the lines and details are so thin like the hairs on his beard but after coming together I think it is just perfection. Whats most important is what it represents and the emotion that you can see through this one static design" — Founder, Animāto · Est. 2018
