Production for your pieces concluded perfectly on schedule. However, due to recent geopolitical shifts and a sudden change in US customs policy, we are facing an unforeseen delay in the final shipping phase. You trusted us with your pre order, and it is our absolute responsibility to maintain transparency regarding its journey.
Weeks ago, our cargo arrived in the US. Following an extended hold by customs for a random inspection, we were informed that a new policy requires the entire shipment to be routed back to our facility overseas. Adjustments must be made on the back end to comply with these new regulations before they can legally re enter the United States. We received this news yesterday.
We apologize for this massive inconvenience. We know you have been anticipating your piece, and we were perfectly on track for our standard 12 week timeline before this intervention. For those of you experiencing your first drop with Animāto, we appreciate your patience. We have been doing this since 2018, and despite the delay, we can promise you one thing. When you finally unbox this piece, it will be worth every second of waiting.
The Revised Logistics Plan
The affected shipment includes the remaining HxH pieces, alongside the Yuno and Yami pieces.
- Return Transit: The cargo is being shipped back to our overseas facility (approx. 25 days).
- Compliance Adjustment: Getting everything sorted to align perfectly with the new policy.
- Re Entry: Shipping back to the US immediately after adjustments (approx. 25 days).
In total, we anticipate a 60 day turnaround before the cargo reaches our headquarters. Once it arrives, your pieces will be dispatched to your door immediately.
Important Note: Asta pieces were shipped in a separate container. They are not affected by this customs hold and are expected to arrive at our facility sometime next week.
Please note that this delay does not impact any other active drop or any other pre order currently in production.
